They have to create a social emotional psychological context for students to develop the non academic, non cognitive skills which are becoming more important like confidence, risk taking, learning how to fail, resilience, grit, all those kind of attributes that are human..."
Yong Zhao currently serves as the Presidential Chair and Director of the Institute for Global and Online Education in the College of Education, University of Oregon, where he is also a Professor in the Department of Educational Measurement, Policy, and Leadership. His works focus on the implications of globalization and technology on education.
