Emanuel has worked for non-profits and the United Nations in Afghanistan, India, Switzerland, Uganda and the UK on a series of different humanitarian and development projects such as disaster relief, working with farming cooperatives, drilling boreholes, developing small business initiatives, building schools, flood shelters and roads, setting up microfinance initiatives, research for health and innovation, monitoring and evaluation and developing humanitarian and leadership training courses.
