"Our duties to our struggling kids and really to all kids is to expect more from them. But in order to expect more from them, we have to expect more from ourselves"
Deanna LeBlanc has taught for eleven years in Northern Nevada at Echo Loder and East Valley Elementary Schools. Deanna was named the 2012 Nevada Teacher of the Year in part because of her work with special education students in her classroom and in assisting her colleagues with their struggling learners as a member of the Instructional Consultation Team. In this talk, she discusses how teachers need to expect more from themselves and those around them. Very inspiring.
